She was born Aug. 14, 1917 to Joseph and Emma Morris in Steinhauer, Nebraska, which her great-grandfather Joseph Steinhauer had founded when he emigrated from Einsiedeln, Switzerland. She met her husband, Larry Wright, there and was married in 1939. They lived in California during World War II and then returned to Norfolk where they owned and operated the Lazy L cafeteria and Fireside Lounge and built the Villa Inn. After her husband death in 1975 she owned the Old Stuff Thrift Shop. She lived in Omaha for several years near her daughters and in June 1996 she moved back to Norfolk. She was survived by 2 daughters and their husbands, 1 son and his wife, 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers.
