Read More	Miles City Star - December 3, 1942 Mrs. Ray Bjork Dies Suddenly Last Night at Ogden, Utah Mrs Ray Bjork, the former Miss Veronica Gavin of this city, passed away suddenly last night at her home in Ogden, Utah, according to word recieved here by Mrs. J. W. Gavin and family. No details were given other than that Mrs. Bjork died quite suddenly. The remains will be received here on Thursday, tomorrow evening, by the Graves Funeral Home, accompanied Mr. Bjork who is principal of the Ogden Schools. Announcement is made from the local Funeral Home that the final services will be held on Friday morning of this week, beginning at 9:00 o'clock from Sacred Heart church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas Hennessy celebrant at the Requiem Mass. Following the church rites the committal services will be held in Calvary cemetery where burial will take place in the family lot. The late Mrs. Bjork had many friends here in Miles City and Glendive where Mr. Bjork was assistant principal of Custer County High School and superintendent of the Glendive city schools, before going to Ogden, Utah. Miles City Star - December 5, 1942 High Requiem Mass Celebrated for the Late Mrs. Ray Bjork High Requiem Mass was celebrated this morning at the Sacred Heart church in memory of and in tribute to the late Mrs. Ray Bjork, who passed away suddenly at her home in Ogden, Utah, on last Wednesday night. The Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Kaiser. The eulogy was spoken by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas Hennessy. After the church rites the committal services were conducted in Calvary cemetery where burial took place in the family lot. The pallbearers included Steve Doyle, W. F. Flinn, J. W. Nugent, Kenneth Smith, M. F. (Ed) Flinn and Frank King. The late Mrs. Bjork was the former Miss Veronica Gavin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gavin, and was born in Miles City on July 23, 1904. She attended the local schools and graduated in the '20's from Custer County High. Her husband was formerly assistant principal at the high school, later being called to the superintendency of the Glendive school system, from which city he went with his family to Ogden, Utah, to assume his new duties there as principal. Besides the husband and father, a son survives in the family. Attending the Mass this morning, among others who had come from Glendive and surrounding areas, were Mr. Bjork's mother and brother who reside in South Dakota.
