Description	:	Mrs. Mary Virginia Brownley, aged 62 years, of Gwynn, died at a nearby hospital Sunday morning. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Brownley; four daughters, Mrs. Sophie St. Pierre, of Norfolk; Miss Katie Brownley, of Gwynn; Miss Rosalie Brownley, of Baltimore, and Miss Earline Brownley, of Washington, D.C.; three sons, William Brownley, of Gwynn; Warren Brownley, of Mathews; and Leon Brownley, of New York; two sisters, Mrs. John Carney, and Mrs. T. E. Edwards, of Gwynn; two brothers, W. H. Gay, and Arthur Gay, of Gwynn, also two grand-sons. Mrs. Brownley was a member of the Island M. E. Church.... E. Edwards, of Gwynn; two brothers, W. H. Gay, and Arthur Gay, of Gwynn, also two grand-sons. Mrs. Brownley was a member of the Island M. E. Church. Her remains were brought to Forrest Funeral Home and prepared for burial. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Island M. E. Church, conducted by Rev. J. T. Mills, assisted by Rev. I. E. Belch. Interment was in the Island Cemetery. The active pallbearers were: Charlie Hudgins, Rosser Hudgins, William Hudgins, Roland Hudgins, James Hudgins, and Fred Hudgins. Honorary pallbearers: Louise Grimstead, Mrs. Mary Bensten, Ethel Godsey, Lora B. Grimstead, Mrs. C. C. Shepherd, Mrs. Richard S. Orr, Mrs. D. V. Smith, and Mrs. E. R. Williamson.
