Description	:	UNION -- Mary Mobley Mathis, 80, of 1305 Jonesville Highway, died May 25, 2002 at Allen Bennett Hospital, Greer, after an extended illness. A native of Union, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Annie Mae Tucker Mobley and widow of Louie M. Mathis. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church; was a graduate of Union High School; and was retired from United Merchants-Union Plant. A native of Union, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Annie Mae Tucker Mobley and widow of Louie M. Mathis. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holcombe Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Barry Ellis. The family is at the home.
