Description	:	Mary Virginia Quisenberry, 95, died Sunday, January 7, 2001, at the residence of a niece, Kay Vandyke, 816 Hickory Street, Elizabethton, with whom she had made her home for the past six years. Miss Quisenberry was a native of Mineral (Wares X Roads), Virginia and a daughter of the late Malcolm B. and Ruth Sims Quisenberry. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Q. Goodwin of Hillview Health Care, Elizabethton; two nephews, Edwin Lumsden, Wadsworth, Ohio and Roger Lumsden, Haines City, Florida; two great nieces, Sequa Shields, Elizabethton, and Senna Weitlich, Overland Park, Kansas; and a great nephew, David Vandyke, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. www.Funeral-Plans.com/Hathaway-Percy Quisenberry - Funeral services for Mary Virginia Quisenberry, 95, 816 Hickory Street, Elizabethton, who died Sunday, January 7, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, January 8 at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, with the Reverend Joseph Sorah and the Reverend Mark Collins officiating. Music will be under the direction of Gene Estep. Private interment will be in the Highland Cemetery at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be David Shields and the men of Calvary Baptist Church. A special thank you to Betty J. Dolan, Julian Anderson and Catherine Culver. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, prior to the service.
