Dyke, 85, formerly of Jimtown Road, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Sunday at the Parkside Health Care Center, where she had been a resident. Mrs. Dyke was born June 1, 1923 in East Palestine, a daughter of the late Leroy and Mary Burnetta Ford Noel, and had resided in the Jimtown area for the past several years. Prior to her retirement in 1988, she had been employed for thirty years with Electrical Refractories as a finisher. Her husband, Richard H. Mrs. Dyke was born June 1, 1923 in East Palestine, a daughter of the late Leroy and Mary Burnetta Ford Noel, and had resided in the Jimtown area for the past several years. Prior to her retirement in 1988, she had been employed for thirty years with Electrical Refractories as a finisher. Her husband, Richard H. Dyke, whom she married January 21, 1949, preceded her in death March 12, 1994. A brother William E. Noel, as well as a sister, Vesta Noel, had also preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda (Guy, Jr.) Mercer, with whom she resided; two brothers, Raymond Noel, East Palestine, and C. Dale Noel, Youngstown. Mrs. Dyke also leaves two grandchildren, Jeremy A. (Vanessa) Mercer and Jaclyn A. (Scott) Sell, as well as two great grandchildren, Zachary and Isaac Manis. The funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, with Ethan Herrington of the Discovery Christian Church, Cranberry Twp., PA, officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. today (Tuesday). Oliver Linsley website
