Description	:	Mrs. Mary Hofer longtime resident of Beadle County died at her farm home five and one half miles north of Yale at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon after being invalid for 8 years. Funeral services are to be held at Bethel Church north of Yale at two o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. J.J. Kleinsasser will have charge of the service and burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. In 1905 they moved to their present farm in Beadle County where she lived with her son Zak and family. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1906; one son, Joseph, in 1904 and one daughter, Mrs. Henry Wedel in 1941. She is survived by the following children: John W. Hofer, Huron; Mrs. Joe H. Pollman, Blunt; Zak M. Hofer, Mrs. Paul Stahl and Mrs. Fred Hofer, all of Yale; one brother, Sam Z. Wipf, Bridgewater, and 21 grandchildren. Huronite & daily plainsman- 1/16/1948
