She and her sister, Oreathia sang as The Lovely Sisters in such venues as The Tennessee Jamboree and WNOX's Mid-day Merry Go Round with such acts as Archie Campbell, Chet Atkins, Homer and Jethro, Bill Carlisle, Kitty Wells and the Louvin Brothers. In her youth, she traveled to Los Angeles where she had small acting parts in Charlie Chan movies. Marzellia was preceded in death by husband, Frank Lloyd Wilson; parents, Gideon (Gid) and Cordelia Mae Gallaher Lovely; sisters, Oreathia Lovely Hofstatter, Hyla Lovely Cooper and three siblings who died in infancy. Marzellia is survived by daughter and son in law, Emma and Siler McCarty of LaFollette; grandchildren, Jarrod and Ericka McCarty, both of LaFollette; great grandchildren, Abbey and Connor McCarty of Jacksboro; brothers, Gene Lovely of Pisgah Forest, NC and Graydon Lovely of Lake City; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on April 23 at Walters Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. before services at Walters Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the church of charity of your choice.
