Description	:	"Mathias Charles Beiermann was born on March 9, 1933 in Albion, Nebraska to Mathias F and Margaret (Engelbert) Beiermann. He grew up in Boone County, Nebraska near Lindsey where he attended District 49 Country School. Math enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1954 to 1956 and also spent time in the Army Reserves. During his time, Math was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base and helped to build the runway for space exploration. It was while he was in the service that he received his GED. Read More	"Mathias Charles Beiermann was born on March 9, 1933 in Albion, Nebraska to Mathias F and Margaret (Engelbert) Beiermann. He grew up in Boone County, Nebraska near Lindsey where he attended District 49 Country School. Math enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1954 to 1956 and also spent time in the Army Reserves. During his time, Math was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base and helped to build the runway for space exploration. It was while he was in the service that he received his GED. Math married Betty Nelson on June 25, 1953 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus, Nebraska and they were blessed with six children: Darryl, Gaylene, Ricky, Steven, Rhonda and Randy. They later divorced. Math married Margaret on July 5, 1976 and they made their home in Fremont. Math worked as a truck driver, welder/fabricator/machinist at Valmont Industries in Valley, Nebraska before retiring in 1992. In later years, he shuttled cars for a local auto dealer. He enjoyed CB radios, motorcycles, square dancing, camping, traveling throughout the United States, woodworking and tinkering. Math was active in the Fremont Volunteer Fire Dept, American Legion and MCEU CB Club and attended many CB conventions. He especially enjoyed vacations to Hawaii and England. He enjoyed polka music, John Wayne movies and Husker football and could often be heard saying “You Kids!”. Math passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Life Care Center of Elkhorn at the age of 82 years 7 months and 19 days. He was preceded in death by his parents Mathias and Margaret, sons Darryl and Ricky, grandson Eric and great grandson Tucker. Math is survived by his wife Margaret; his children Gaylene (Robb) Urie of Woodland Park, CO, Steven of Omaha, Rhonda Daugherty of Omaha and Randy (Linda) of Elkhorn; step-children Cindy Trisdale of Blair, James (Nancy) Price of Florida, Bill (Lisa) Price of Overland Park, KS and Kelly (Paula) Price of Fremont. 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; brothers Bill of Battle Creek, NE and Don of Omaha; sisters Joann Veik of Humphrey, NE and Patricia Wemhoff of Aurora, CO."
