He worked and lived briefly in New Orleans,then returned to Vevay in 1824. He moved to Craig Township in 1840 then returned to Vevay in 1852. Listed in Census records for Craig Township in 1840,1850 then Census for Vevay 1860,1870.(source,Census Records and Obit in. Feb.26,1880 edition of the Vevay Reveille) He married Margaret Shaw on December12,1826. Margaret died of Cholera.. |
