Leinen, was born January 16, 1929 at Portsmouth, Iowa and was killed in action in Korea on September 1, 1951. He attended St. Mary's school at Portsmouth and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was in the trucking and farming business before entering the service on March 22, 1951.
