Mrs. Burch, who was born in Lexington, Kentucky, was aged 88 years and 19 days at the time of her death. She survived her husband, whom she married in Kentucky, by fifteen years and her two children who died in infancy. Facey home in Etna, Mrs. Matilda Burch, at the earnest request of her sister, Mrs. Hazeltine Facey, was removed to Fairview Farm, the home of the latter, where she passed away on June 19. Mrs. Burch was born in Lexington, Kentucky, March 25, 1834, and her age was 88 years and 19 days at the time of her death. The greater part of her life was spent in the east, but for the past four years she had resided with her sister. She was one of a family of eight children, of which only Mrs. Hazeltine Facey remains to mourn her loss. She was of a lovable disposition, keenly alive to humor and a favorite with relatives and friends. She had been a member of the Christian church since her youth. The funeral was held in the Congregational church on Monday at 2 p.m. …The floral offerings were mute evidence of the esteem in which she was held.
