Read More	Matilda "Mattie" Delores Clark was born near Bashaw, Alberta on March 4, 1923 and passed away in Camrose, Alberta on October 15, 2017 at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband George S, infant sons Colin and Charles, daughters Donna and Heather, sons-in-law Chuck Ames and Bill Wells; brothers Andrew and Nick Kerik; sisters Alice Gallie and Margaret Orom. I (Tanya) met Mattie the day after my Grandmother Mary Worsley's funeral on Aug 15, 2011. She told Uncle Peter and my mother Verona the story about how her and Gran Mary (when they were 15 and 16 or so) went on a double date to a dance and on the way home they were forced into the ditch and rolled the car. They went to the doctor to get stitches, (in Matties side and on Gran's hand) however the Doctor had been at the dance and he was a bit (I forget her term for it, I think it was Sauced) but he was drunk! A couple of days later they discovered the glass was coming out of the injury as It had been sewn in! Mattie was giggling the whole time she told us this story. Fun times back in the day!
