Description	:	Mrs. Matilda Paasch, aged 62 years, 1 month and 18 days, died at 10 o'clock Wednesday night at her home, 424 North Eighth street. Death was due to a complication of diseases as the result of an attack of yellow jaundice. Matilda Foristier was born January 13th, 1852, in Pommarania, Germany. On December 5th, 1873, she was married to Carl Paasch in Pommarania. After living in Germany a number of years they came to Clinton in 1880, where they have lived ever since. Read More	Mrs. Matilda Paasch, aged 62 years, 1 month and 18 days, died at 10 o'clock Wednesday night at her home, 424 North Eighth street. Death was due to a complication of diseases as the result of an attack of yellow jaundice. Matilda Foristier was born January 13th, 1852, in Pommarania, Germany. On December 5th, 1873, she was married to Carl Paasch in Pommarania. After living in Germany a number of years they came to Clinton in 1880, where they have lived ever since. Mrs. Paasch was taken sick with yellow jaundice last June and has suffered considerable ever since. She was a kind and loving mother and a very patient sufferer, and was tenderly cared for by her daughter, Mrs. Fred Koch. That deceased has a score of neighbors and friends who will be grieved to learn of her death. Left to mourn her loss is her aged husband and eight children, Mrs. Augusta Buelow, Clinton, John Paasch, Paul, Emil and Herman at home, Mrs. Anna Petersen of Charlotte, Mrs. Mary Koch at home, and Mrs. Minnie Cook of Camanche. Three children, one born in German, two dying in infancy. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two brothers, Herman Foristier, Rock Falls, Ill., Gustav Foristier, Sterling, Ill., and one sister in Germany. The funeral will be held from the late home, 424 North Eight St., Saturday afternoon. There will be short services at the home at 1:30 and the funeral sermon will be preached at St. John's Church by Rev. Hugo Grimm. Interment will be made in Oakland cemetery.
