Born January 17, 1904, in Craig, Mrs. Oerman was a lifelong resident of the Nickerson-Herman area. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Arlington, St. Paul's Women's League and the Fontanelle Extension Club. She married Lawrence Oerman September 15, 1926, in Immanuel Lutheran Church near Winslow. He survives. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Arlington, Nebraska, St. Paul's Women's League and the Fontanelle Extension Club. Mrs. Oerman passed away Wednesday, May 21, 1980 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont, Nebraska. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; 2 sons, Leslie and Laverne; 1 sister, Mrs. Adolph (Bertha) Bartling; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Fred; 1 sister, Mrs. Emma Stuenkel and by 1 granddaughter.
