He left the following children: Calvin A., Elisa J. (wife of Wm. Reeder), Matilda (wife of Asa Davis), Elizabeth (wife of Henry H. Blease), and Cordelia C. (wife of James Davis). Calvin A. died Jan 6th, 1867 and left widow, Nancy (McKittrick) Satterwhite. His first wife was Margaret Cannon by which he had a son, John W. C. Satterwhite. Another son, John F. died July 17th, 1862, leaving widow, Eustacia (she afterward married Perry Workman), and children as follows: John W., May June Smith, and William Franklin Satterwhite. William Satterwhite was a son of Bartlett Satterwhite, Sr. and his wife Catherine Floyd Satterwhite.
