Description	:	DEATH OF MATTHEW BENNETT Matthew Bennett died at the farm residence two and one-half miles north-east of the city Sunday night. He was sixty-five years of age. His death was due to heart trouble and was not unexpected, as he had been ailing for some time. His wife and one daughter were with him when the end came. Mr. Bennett was born in England. He was engaged in mining in Michigan for a number of years after coming to America. In 1878 he came to North Dakota and engaged in farming near Jamestown. He has resided here since that time.... Read More	DEATH OF MATTHEW BENNETT Matthew Bennett died at the farm residence two and one-half miles north-east of the city Sunday night. He was sixty-five years of age. His death was due to heart trouble and was not unexpected, as he had been ailing for some time. His wife and one daughter were with him when the end came. Mr. Bennett was born in England. He was engaged in mining in Michigan for a number of years after coming to America. In 1878 he came to North Dakota and engaged in farming near Jamestown. He has resided here since that time. He was the first class leader of the M. E. church in Jamestown, and was also one of the original members of the church here. He died a member of that faith. Besides his wife Mr. Bennett leaves an unmarried daughter, Mrs. John Minear, a sister; Absolom Bennett of this city, a brother; a brother in California and a daughter in Whitehall, Montana, to mourn his loss. Absolom Bennett and Mrs. Minear were about to leave for California where it was hoped the former would regain his health. The deceased was a hard worker not only as a farmer but also in the upbuilding of the M. E. church and the news of his death is heard with regret by many friends. ******* The funeral of Matthew Bennett occurred this forenoon and was attended by many. Services were held in the M.
