He married three times: First to an unknown woman by whom he had a son Leo Bryant (b:c1867 OH on the 1880 Census). Second to Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Harvey on 13 Jan 1872 in Crawford County, OH. The ceremony was performed by Rev. G. W. Ball. The following children were born to this marriage before 1880: Francis Bryant, John Bryant, Charles Bryant, and Blanche Bryant. As his third marriage, he married Minnie Bertha Rush (1870-1926) on 19 Jun 1899 in Erie County, OH. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Francis Wolf. It appears from the 1900 Census that no children were born to this 3rd marriage. He was an iron molder by trade in his younger years and changed to a clerk position before the 1900 Census.
