Description	:	**************************************************** Matthias Hessheimer, 76, died Saturday at his home near Kramer, having been a resident of this community the past 40 years. He was born June 27, 1863 in Hungary and came to this country on January 6,1884 and took up work in Lincoln. He joined the Trinity Lutheran congregation and moved to Kramer on January 4, 1901 to live on a farm where he resided until his death. Read More	************************************************** Matthias Hessheimer, 76, died Saturday at his home near Kramer, having been a resident of this community the past 40 years. He was born June 27, 1863 in Hungary and came to this country on January 6,1884 and took up work in Lincoln. He joined the Trinity Lutheran congregation and moved to Kramer on January 4, 1901 to live on a farm where he resided until his death. As soon as he came to Kramer, he became a member of the church and was an elder of the church for 12 years and especially active when the church was built. On September 10, 1887 he was married to Elizabeth Wendelin and six children were born to this union, four of whom survive him, resides his wife. They are Matthias, Jr., William, Mrs. L. Mundt, and Mrs. Ed Mundt, all of Crete. Those who preceded him in death were Mrs. Ed Uphoff, aged 42, and Emma at 14 months. Also to mourn his death are two brothers, Mike Hessheimer of Lincoln, Adam Hessheimer of Crete, and one sister, Mrs. Theresa Ebner, living in Hungary, besides 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. On September 10, 1937 they celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary. He died at the age of 76 years, 6 months, and 3 days and was buried on January 3, 1940 at the Lutheran cemetery, with Rev. W.M.
