(Source: Arizona Marriage Collection) ============================================= The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, April 10, 1969 Mrs. Mattie Bell White, 85, died Wednesday at the Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior. A resident of Edgar and the community for many years she was born in San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the Edgar Christian Church. Survivors are daughters and sons, Mrs. Charles Stevens of Fairfield; Mrs. Mary Mladek of Cozad; Mrs. Herman Simshauser of Spartanburg, S.C.; Mrs. Charles Goosic of Fairfield; Mrs. Merl Cool of Tekamah; Harry and Lee both of Edgar; 15 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Services were held for Mattie Bell White who was born May 11, 1884 and died April 2, 1969, Saturday April 5, 1969 at 10:00 A.M. at the Edgar Christian Church in Edgar. Reverend Victor Schwarz officiating. Mrs. Elzora Tolle accompanied Mrs. Mary Ellen Greer and Mrs. Merna Watson who sang. Pall Bearers were: Walter Stevens, Dale Stevens, Earl H. Stevens, Jake White, Wayne Stevens and Jerry Simshauser. Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery with the Urbauer funeral home in charge. Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goosic, Mr. and Mrs. James Weyenburg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Stevens all of Fairfield; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stevens and family of Helena, Montana' Mr. and Mrs. Herman Simshauser and daughter of Spartabrug, S.C.; Mrs. Mary Mladek, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mladek and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Perry and family all of Cozad; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Simshauser and family of Akron, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Cool of Tekamah, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Jake White of Superior; Mrs. David Kramer of Kearney; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Blevins and family and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Tegker and family of Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Boynton, Mrs. Elbridge Boynton and Mrs. Faye Mallory all of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. Pat Cottam and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Zuelow of Hastings.
