Description	:	Mattie Lee (Johnson) Ingle Brannon, 82, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William Claude Brannon and daughter of the late Rufus and Ocie (Leedy) Johnson. Mrs. Brannon loved her church and was an active member of New Life Worship Center, formerly Ella Crocker Pentecostal Church. She was a Practical Nurse for many years at Mary Black Memorial Hospital and later worked for Dr. Edward H. Law. After her retirement, she did private duty sitting at Skylyn... Read More	Mattie Lee (Johnson) Ingle Brannon, 82, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William Claude Brannon and daughter of the late Rufus and Ocie (Leedy) Johnson. Mrs. Brannon loved her church and was an active member of New Life Worship Center, formerly Ella Crocker Pentecostal Church. She was a Practical Nurse for many years at Mary Black Memorial Hospital and later worked for Dr. Edward H. Law. After her retirement, she did private duty sitting at Skylyn Place. She loved and enjoyed her family and her gardening. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Bobbie I. Gardner Gowan of Lake Bowen, Dianne I. Cannon (Jim) of Boiling Springs and Pam I. Fowler (Mickey) of Boiling Springs; three sons, Brooks Brannon (Sandra) of Inman, David Brannon (Robin) of Boiling Springs, and Phillip Brannon (Jane) of Spartanburg; two brothers, Hubert Johnson and Frank Johnson both of Kokomo, IN; two sisters, Anna Bea Hatchett and Ressie Plexico both of Spartanburg; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were Sunday, August 28, at Bobo Funeral Chapel officiated by Pastor Ron Rhodes. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
