Description	:	Maude Murray. 83, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 1990 in the Pioneer Home in Big Timber. She was bom January 25, 1907, in Hayward, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Mabel Daily. They came to Montana in 1910 and homesteaded on Fish Creek. She received her education at the Settlement School near Melville and attended one year of high school at Sweet Grass County High School in Big Timber. They came to Montana in 1910 and homesteaded on Fish Creek. They retired and moved into Big Timber in 1973. She worked as a telephone operator for many years with the Home Telephone Company in Big Timber. She had been active in 4-H and the Trio Club. Survivors include, a son Don E. Murray of Big Timber; three daughters, Dolores Kombol of Roundup, Mavis Jarrett of Big Timber and Vonnic Hakes of Ronan; a sister Betty Jones of Sheridan, Wyoming; a stepbrother. Clifford Olson and stepsisters Millie Radclaff and Sadie Pollock all of Washington and Ora Olson of Hardin, Montana; 16 grandchildren. 25 grand grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
