She was united in marriage to Charles Sigman on March 30, 1908, and they lived near Edgar, Nebr., until moving to Holt county (sic) in 1914. To this union ten children were born, five of whom died in infancy. One daughter, Mrs Faye Wiltfang died Dec 27, 1933. She leaves to mourn her passing from this life, her husband, four children, Mrs. Elliot Carpenter of Inman, Mrs. Cecil Brown of O'Neill and Lois and Cleve, living at home in Amelia. There are also nine grandchildren. Besides the immediate family there are four sisters and four brothers, saddened by the loss of their sister. They are Mrs. Robert Sigman of Martin, S.D.; Mrs. Axel Peterson, Charles, Ward and Marvin Smith, all of Clay Center, Nebr.; Mrs. Albert Thomas of Gering, Nebr.; Mrs. Ford Wolfe of Crete, Nebr.; and Wayne Smith of Torrington, Wyo., One sister, Mrs, Leoma Peterson, preceded her in death three years. ago. Mrs. Sigman was known to her many friends as a person possessing an exceptionally sunny disposition. She refused to let disappointments or even a long tedious illness cause her to complain or in anyway make those around her unhappy. Her cheery words were not just for visitors. She was a woman who thoroughly loved her home and family. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept 7, at Amelia, and burial was at Chambers. Pall bearers were Beryl Waldo, Sam Gilman, Miles Minahan, Frank Pierce, Guy Wright and Thomas Doolittle, all of Amelia. Those from out of town at the funeral were: Mr and Mrs Ford Wolfe, Crete, Nebr. Mr and Mrs Axel Peterson and Eileen, Mr and Mrs Ward Smith, and Mr and Mrs Charles Smith all of Clay Center, Nebr.; Mr and Mrs Albert Thomas and daughters, Margie and Faye, Gering, Nebr.; Wayne Smith, Torrington, Wyo.; Mr and Mrs Robert Sigman and Mr and Mrs Pete Sigman, Martin, S. D.; Mr and Mrs Charles Shane and Oliver, Atkinson, Mrs Beck Wallen, O'Neill, Mr and Mrs Cecil Brown, O'Neill and Mr and Mrs John Gilster, Rose, Nebr.
