Hill; brother, Jay T. Hill (Maxine); sons, Stuart and Donn S. Claiborne, Sr.; grandson, Albert Russell (Rusty) Claiborne. Miona was a beautiful lady; generous and loving, who devoted her life to caring for family and friends. She was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church since 1929. Read More	Mrs. Mavia Miona Hill Claiborne, age 93 of LaFollette passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013. Preceded in death by husband; A. Russell Claiborne; mother, Trula Hill; father, John T. Hill; brother, Jay T. Hill (Maxine); sons, Stuart and Donn S. Claiborne, Sr.; grandson, Albert Russell (Rusty) Claiborne. Miona was a beautiful lady; generous and loving, who devoted her life to caring for family and friends. She was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church since 1929. Her interests included history, current events, fashion, antiques, and she was a real power shopper. She and Russ enjoyed motor coach trips throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Miona is survived by son: Steve L. Claiborne and wife, Scotti; Three granddaughters, Jill Shumate and husband, Gilbert, Janet Claiborne, Rebecca Robards and husband Tommy; One great-granddaughter, Georgia Robards; One grandson, Donn S. Claiborne, Jr.; Three great-grandsons, Thomas, Rusty, and Mack Robards. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services Wednesday 1 P.M. at LaFollette United Methodist Church, 808 East Central Ave., LaFollette, TN 37766, with Rev. Don Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 P.M. Wednesday before funeral services. Online condolences for Mrs. Claiborne may be made at www.waltersfuneralhome.net.
