Description	:	Mavis was born in Huntley, Mont., July 31, 1914, to Floyd and Grace Morgan. She grew up in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Most of her school years were spent in Buhl, Idaho. After she graduated from high school, she came to Billings to attend Billings Business College. Here she met her husband of 48 years, Carl Wilkinson. They married on June 25, 1936. Read More	Mavis was born in Huntley, Mont., July 31, 1914, to Floyd and Grace Morgan. She grew up in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Most of her school years were spent in Buhl, Idaho. After she graduated from high school, she came to Billings to attend Billings Business College. Here she met her husband of 48 years, Carl Wilkinson. They married on June 25, 1936. Mavis was a devoted wife and mother of two sons: Jim (Carol) of Billings and Tom (Judy) of Woodbury, Minn. She is survived by three brothers, Joe (Lucille), David (Martha Ann) and Noel Morgan; grandchildren, Michele (Vincent) Serumgard, Sherry (Steve) Brester, David, Richard (Maren) and Jon (Jill) Wilkinson, Susan (Earl) Tate and Mary Beth Gomez; her eight great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Kevin, Christene, Lucas, Madison, Max, Rio and Tazsia. She also has several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother James (killed in World War II); sister, Shirley Cranston; sister-in-law Maureen Morga; and granddaughter Jean Erin Montanne. Mavis was an accomplished seamstress often making special outfits for grandchildren. She enjoyed playing pinochle, gardening and dancing at the Legion Club. In later years she read, did crosswords and created exquisite needlework items for family and friends. She spent the last six years at Aspen Meadows. We want to thank the staff who lovingly cared for her, especially the last few months of her life. She loved and cared for them in return. She died April 21, 2012. A celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Smith's West Chapel, 304 34th St. W. Interment will follow at Terrace Gardens.
