Max was the son of Henry (Ed) and Laberta (Buskirk) Herbert. Max was the 1st family member to be born in a hospital. Max served his country in the US Army, while in the army max had his weapon inspected by President John F Kennedy. Max worked for GM from 1966 til his retirement.
