Description	:	Max L. Veinot 1980 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Max L. Veinot occurred at the D.M. Hospital early Sunday morning, July 27th., 1980. He was born at Hemford April 16, 1914, son of the late Fred and Laura Veinot. Although in failing health for a number of years, his death came as a shock to his many relatives and friends. Although in failing health for a number of years, his death came as a shock to his many relatives and friends. He suffered much pain but always had a kind word and ready smile for those around him. He will be sadly missed as a kind and loving husband and father. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Cavell (Lohnes) Veinot; three daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Clifford Mosher), Elaine (Mrs. Lester Wile), Hemford; Patricia (Mrs. Walter Ganong), Calgary; and one son, Vincent, Hemford; one sister, Marion (Mrs. Eldon Lohnes), Lunenburg; one brother, Lauren, Hemford. He also had seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchidlren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lulu and Phylis. The largely attended funeral was held on Tuesday, July 29, 1980 at 2 p.m. from the Union Church at Hemford, with Rev. Ross Hamilton officiating. Mrs. Connie Wile was organist. Hymns sung were "The Old Rugged Cross," a favourite of the deceased and "Nearer, My God, to Thee." Pallbearers were all friends of the deceased: Arnold Wile, Royden Veinot, Ernest Colp, Basil Wagner, Bernard Wile, and Wendell Crouse. Interment took place in the Hemford Cemetery.
