Description	:	========================= Marx Kruse died at the home of son, M. H. Kruse, near Duxberry, Friday morning, May 12 [1916] at 6 o'clock after a few days' illness. He was born in Holstein, Germany, August 10, 1829 and was at the time of his death 86 years 9 months and 2 days old. In the year of 1882 he came with his family to America, settling first in Davenport, IA; then in 1890 moving to a farm in Webster County, IA, and in the Spring of 1895(?) came with his wife and the above named son to Dakota. His wife died... Read More	========================= Marx Kruse died at the home of son, M. H. Kruse, near Duxberry, Friday morning, May 12 [1916] at 6 o'clock after a few days' illness. He was born in Holstein, Germany, August 10, 1829 and was at the time of his death 86 years 9 months and 2 days old. In the year of 1882 he came with his family to America, settling first in Davenport, IA; then in 1890 moving to a farm in Webster County, IA, and in the Spring of 1895(?) came with his wife and the above named son to Dakota. His wife died eight years ago. Grandpa Kruse leaves three children, Mrs. George Dunker in Warner, Mrs. Fred Moenck, Duncombe, IA, and M. H. Kruse, near Duxberry; also nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the home of his son. Pallbearers were W. W--ek, G. Young, H.
