She was born April 22, 1926, in Bayard to Ira and Ellen Sides Childers. Maxine grew up in the Maywood, McCook, and Dickens areas. On August 9, 1945, she married Charles Parker in McCook. Read More	Maxine Earline Parker Maxine Earline Parker, 77, of North Platte, died November 7, 2003, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1926, in Bayard to Ira and Ellen Sides Childers. Maxine grew up in the Maywood, McCook, and Dickens areas. On August 9, 1945, she married Charles Parker in McCook. The couple moved to the family farm before living in Potter, Sidney, and Kimball, eventually settling in North Platte in 1947. Maxine worked at Tony’s Restaurant, Woolworths, and Rightway Laundry for 16 years. She retired in 1968. Maxine was a warm, loving, beautiful woman who was always there for her family and friends. She also had a wonderful sense of humor. Survivors include her husband of North Platte; daughters Judy (Delbert) Bahnsen, Carolyn Schnacker, and Barbara Pelham, all of North Platte; sister Leona (Wayne) Parker of Curtis; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Charolett Ballard. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
