Description	:	MAXINE L. BOILER MUSCATINE, Iowa - Maxine L. Boiler, 89, of Muscatine, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Muscatine Care Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Swanson of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Troy Carter, Victor Noel, David Carter, Jon Carter, Tom Carter, Matt Carter and Cyril Meredith. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Boiler was born June 19, 1913, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Edward and Hattie Chance Peck. Her first marriage was to Verdon C. Carter in Ottumwa and later married Raymond Boiler on Oct. 31, 1949, in Ottumwa. Both husbands preceded her in death. She attended the First Baptist Church in Muscatine. She worked at Batterson's for many years. Survivors include two sons, Duane Carter and his wife, Joyce, of Muscatine, and Jack Carter and his wife, Margaret Ann, of Letts; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Donna Jean Carter, several brothers, one sister, two infant grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ralph J Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home
