Read More	Salina Journal - September 1, 1995 Maxine Girard Racette CLYDE - Maxine Girard Racette, 65, Clyde, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 1995, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Salina. Mrs. Racette was born Maxine Girard on Nov. 22, 1929, at St. Joseph. She was a homemaker and was self-employed as a paper hanger and painter. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America, both of Clyde, American Legion Auxiliary, Clifton, and past president of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Clyde. She was a former member of the church council in Clyde. A son, Stephen, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Ronald of Clyde; three sons, Daniel of Mineral, Va., David of Canon City, Colo., and Jerry of Brockton, Mass.; two daughters, Pauline Pearce of Wells and Jayne Dowell of Manhattan; a brother, Donald Girard of Clay Center; two sisters, Joanne Dalton of San Antonio and Anna Jean Parry of Clay Center; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, the Rev. Frank Coady officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the church. Memorials may be made to the church or Clyde Ambulance Fund. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Chaput Mortuary, 310 Washington, Box 291, Clyde 66938, and after 6 p.m. today at the church.
