Description	:	Maxine Moyer Maxine Virginia Moyer, 89, of Luray, died on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at MontVue Nursing Home. She was born on Dec. 1, 1925, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Lester Eugene Martin and Clara Hill Martin. Mrs. Moyer worked as a payroll clerk at the Luray Textile for 44 years and was a member of the Beth Eden Lutheran Church. On Sept. 28, 1946, she married Joseph Samuel Moyer, who died on Jan. 9, 1995. She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Hoak; and a brother, Mahlon Eugene “Bud” Martin. A funeral service was conducted on Saturday, Jan. 3, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Vicar Alex Zuber.
