Description	:	Mrs. F. D. Dennis, 90, resident of Albion for 7 years, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Kuper Nursing Home, 105 S. 9th St., where sh had been a patient for th last month. She suffered a stroke Friday. SERVICES WILL be at p.m. Thursday from Albion Methodist Church, with burial in Albion Cemetery. In 1882 the family moved to Albion, where she attended the Albion Seminary, graduating in 1887. She then went to Mount Vernon to be with her brother, the late Dr. E. T. Devine, who was on the faculty of Cornell College, where she studied for a time. On Nov. 7, 1894, she was married to John E. Crouse of Albion, who died in 1932. They were the parents of a son, Leverne, who died at the age of 23 in an airplane accident in 1919. Her, second marriage was to Frank D. Dennis of Albion in 1934, and he died in 1956. MRS. DENNIS was a member of Albion Methodist Church for the last 76 years and served on the official board and as Sunday School superintendent for many years. She was also a member of the Albion Town Council at one time and served as secretary of the school board for several years. Mrs. Dennis is survived by two step children, Mrs. Rheba Neff of Albion and Wendell M. Dennis of New Fork City, and several nieces and nephews. The late Dr. V. S. Devine of Marshallown was a half brother. A sister, Mrs. Estelle Boggs, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Dennis had been a patient Speer's Nursing Home fr three years before going to Kuper Nursing Home: from Marshalltown IA newspaper Times Republican dated Tuesday April 19 1960
