Description	:	Mayme Lowery was born in the Kent neighborhood north of Brooklyn, Iowa, March 2, 1902, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lowery. Her spirit was called to the God who gave it April 30, 1926, after an illness of several months. She was married to Mr. Rex Bramer December 2, 1919. To this union was born their only child, Mary Jane, who is now a little past five years of age. Mrs. Bramer contracted the disease of tuberculosis almost four years ago and later went to the Oakdale sanitarium, where she recovered her health in part, but only... Read More	Mayme Lowery was born in the Kent neighborhood north of Brooklyn, Iowa, March 2, 1902, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lowery. Her spirit was called to the God who gave it April 30, 1926, after an illness of several months. She was married to Mr. Rex Bramer December 2, 1919. To this union was born their only child, Mary Jane, who is now a little past five years of age. Mrs. Bramer contracted the disease of tuberculosis almost four years ago and later went to the Oakdale sanitarium, where she recovered her health in part, but only for a short time. For over a year she has been getting worse, until finally the end came peacefully. Mrs. Bramer was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. She was also active in the American Legion Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors. She leaves to mourn her death her mother, Mrs. J. W. Lowery, her brother, Jay, little Mary Jane and her husband Rex Bramer. Mrs. Bramer was more active and energetic than her physical health would permit. Relapses came as a result of over-exertion. The prayers of many friends go out to the bereaved in this hour of sorrow. Funeral services were held at the A. Bramer home Sunday afternoon with Rev. W. J. Fowler in charge. Interment followed in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Many beautiful floral pieces were a tribute to one who had been a friend to many.
