Mrs. Joseph (Mary Uhlenhake) Krogmeier, 75, Fort Madison RR2, died at 8:35 a.m. today in Sacred Heart hospital. She had been in failing health for two years.. Mrs. Krogmeier was born March 26, 1892 in Lake View, Iowa. She had lived in the Fort Madison area for 55 years.. She and Joseph Krogmeier, who survives, were married Feb. 8, 1913, at Wesley, Iowa. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church and the Altar and Rosary Society.. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, James Krogmeier, Fort Madison; two daughters, Mrs. John (Catherine) Murphy, also of Fort Madison, and Mrs. William (Mary) Helenthal, East Moline, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. George Krogmeier, Fort Madison, Mrs. Ralph Bauer, Wesley, Iowa, and Mrs. Gus Brandt, Clear Lake; and 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and two great grandchildren. Her parents were John and Mary Franzen Uhlenhake.. . Funeral Thursday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart church. The Very Rev. E. P. Seidel, V. F., will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery.. The body is at Nieters Chapel where the rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Wednesday by the Altar and Rosary Society and at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday by the parish..
