Description	:	Pittsfield town records show that she was born August 19 1807. After her sister Mary died, Benjamin married Mehitable, her sister. Benjamin and Mehitable adopted Laura Ann Cass who was born October 25, 1836. In the 1850 Census Benjamin and Mehitable owned a farm in Bristol NH and had children Laura age 13 and Frank age 7. By 1860 they have bought a home in Sanbornton NH and Benjamin was working as a carpenter. After her sister Mary died, Benjamin married Mehitable, her sister. Benjamin and Mehitable adopted Laura Ann Cass who was born October 25, 1836. In the 1850 Census Benjamin and Mehitable owned a farm in Bristol NH and had children Laura age 13 and Frank age 7. By 1860 they have bought a home in Sanbornton NH and Benjamin was working as a carpenter. In 1870 Mehitable age 62 owned a home in Tilton NH and her daughter and son-in-law resided with her along with two grandchildren Frank and Eddiie Buttrick. Husband Benjamin had died in 1866. In 1880 Mehitable was still in her Franklin home living along, age 72, widowed. Daughter Laura married George Francis Buttrick on October 18, 1860. She died 1913 and also buried Homeland. Note: DOD on original memorial was 1876 however Methitable was living in the 1880 census in Tilton New Hampshire and death record indicates died March 1, 1896 at age 88 yrs, 6 mos and 12 days of old age, buried Tilton.
