Description	:	Old Settler Dies Mrs. Hiram Hall died Friday morning at 1 a.m., Feb 23, 1912, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.E. Wright, in Ionia. Lenora Oliver was born near Plattsburg in Clinton County, New York, Jan. 13, 1828, where she grew to womanhood. August 16th, 1849, she was united in marriage to Hiram Hall, of that place. Seven children were born to this union, three of whom survive her, Darwin Hall and Mrs. Cora Howdeshell, of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Amelia Wright, of Ionia, where she has made her home since last June. Lenora Oliver was born near Plattsburg in Clinton County, New York, Jan. 13, 1828, where she grew to womanhood. August 16th, 1849, she was united in marriage to Hiram Hall, of that place. Seven children were born to this union, three of whom survive her, Darwin Hall and Mrs. Cora Howdeshell, of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Amelia Wright, of Ionia, where she has made her home since last June. Also one stepdaughter, Mrs. Matilda Green, of Monona, Iowa. In 1868 they came with their family to Nashua, Iowa, where they resided until 1902, when they moved to Minneapolis, where her husband died July 25, 1904. Since that time she had made her home with her two daughters, Mrs. Howdeshell, and Mrs. Wright. The funeral was held at the home Sunday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Will Kirwin, of Nashua, and the remains were taken to the Oak Hill cemetery at Nashua for burial by the side of her husband and other loved ones gone before. The Nashua Reporter, Nashua, Iowa Feb 29, 1912 Hiram Hall died in 1902 not 1904 per his obituary printed in the Nashua Reporter on 31 Jul 1902. This is in agreement with his death record from Hennipen County, MN. Lenora's children were Myron E, Darwin, Amelia Maria, Emeretta A, Hiram VanRensallaer, and Cora. She had two stepdaughters; Roxanna and Matilda Celesta. Lenora lived with Amelia Wright and Cora Howdeshell.
