OBITUARY: MRS. JACK (MELISA) McKNIGHT

Melisa Jo Smith, daughter of Joseph H. and Maria L. Young Smith, was born July 27, 1956 at Deming, N.M., one of four children.
She attended elementary schools in New Mexico and then moved to Nebraska where she received her education at Brock and at Johnson-Brock schools.
On April 12, 1975, Melisa was married to Al DeBuhr at the Methodist church in Brock. To this marriage one daughter, Tabitha Lynn, was born at Auburn on March 27, 1977. Melisa and Al DeBuhr were later divorced.

Melisa Jo Smith, daughter of Joseph H. and Maria L. Young Smith, was born July 27, 1956 at Deming, N.M., one of four children.

On April 12, 1975, Melisa was married to Al DeBuhr at the Methodist church in Brock. To this marriage one daughter, Tabitha Lynn, was born at Auburn on March 27, 1977. Melisa and Al DeBuhr were later divorced.
Melisa was later united in marriage with Jack McKnight at Coryell Park chapel. One daughter, Kalynda Jo, was born on May 20, 1982 at Springerville, Ariz.
Death came suddenly on Jan. 4, 1986 when fire engulfed their home. Melisa had reached the age of 29, Tabitha Lynn 8 and Kalynda Jo 3.
Melisa was preceded in death by her brother, Kelly Smith in 1975.
Burial was in Lafayette cemetery at Brock.
