She was born in Placerville, California on July 25, 1983 to Gregory and Vena Morford. Melissa graduated from Concorde Career Institute in November 2008 and has been a nurse at Prestige Care in Portland, Oregon since 2009. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Melissa is survived by her husband, Byron Bosley; their 1-1/2-year-old daughter, Brianna Lanae; Byron's family; her mother, Vena Morford; brothers, Michael, Jason and Jonathan Morford and sister, Christina Myers, and their families. She was preceded in death by her father, Greg Morford; grandparents, Buzz and Gwen Thompson of Hermiston, Oregon and Ben Morford of Carmichael, California. Melissa was a caring nurse, loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. She will be missed by many that her life touched. A graveside service was held at Park Hill Cemetery, 5915 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, Tues., July 30, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2223 NW 99th St., Vancouver, WA 98665.
