Description	:	EAST WENATCHEE _ Melody A. Ogdon, 45, of East Wenatchee, died Saturday July 31, 1993, at Central Washington Hospital following an extended illness. She was born July 21, 1948, at Leavenworth to Byron and Lethal (Richardson) Main. The family moved in 1954 to East Wenatchee where she received her education, graduating from Eastmont High School in 1966. She then attended Central Washington State College for a year. Read More	EAST WENATCHEE _ Melody A. Ogdon, 45, of East Wenatchee, died Saturday July 31, 1993, at Central Washington Hospital following an extended illness. She was born July 21, 1948, at Leavenworth to Byron and Lethal (Richardson) Main. The family moved in 1954 to East Wenatchee where she received her education, graduating from Eastmont High School in 1966. She then attended Central Washington State College for a year. She married Michael Ogdon on Feb. 17, 1968, in East Wenatchee and lived there while he was in active duty in the U.S. military. They moved to Fort Hood, Texas, in August of 1970, and returned to East Wenatchee in March of 1971. Mrs. Ogdon went to work at the Chelan County Medical Association in 1972 as an enrollment clerk. She had a 15-year career there until the association closed in 1987. She had worked in various capacities and was office manager when the office closed. From 1987 to December of 1991, Mrs. Ogdon worked as a secretary at Pioneer Middle School. In January of 1991, she began work at Wenatchee Orthopaedics as an accounts receivable clerk. She stopped working there this April. Mrs. Ogdon was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in East Wenatchee. Survivors include her husband, at home; a son, Andy Ogdon, with the U.S. Army in Fort Ord, Calif.; her mother, Lethal Baker, East Wenatchee; a brother, Tim Main, Selah; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her natural father, Byron Main, and by her adoptive father, Nelson Baker. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley.
