He died May 13, 1997, at the Sheyenne Care Center. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday at Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City, and one hour before the service at the church. He was the son of Daniel August and Emma (Tonto) Wolsky and grew up at Nome where he graduated from high school. He attended North Dakota State University in 1919. Mr. Wolsky married Ernestine Ussatis July 24, 1923, in Lucca. They farmed near Nome. They had three sons, Wallace, Wesley and Melroy and a daughter, Beatrice. He married Theolina Miller in 1953 and in 1983 he married Vietta Mortenson. Vietta died in 1985. Mr. Wolsky entered the Sheyenne Car Center in 1991. Survivors are three sons, Wallace (Dolores) and Wesley (Shirley), all Nome; and Melroy, Oriska; a daughter, Beatrice Peterson, Oriska; two brothers, Emil, Valley City; Leo (Agnes), Hemet, Calif; two sisters, Esther Richman, Clackamas, OR, and Alice Beehn, Olney, IL; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; two grandsons, Steven Wolsky and Terry Peterson; five brothers; and two sisters.
