Hausman, 68, of 822 Simon Avenue, a meat-cutter at the Bernholtz Locker for 18 years, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, January 11, of an apparent heart attack. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January IS, a t St. Lawrence church with the Rev. Lawrence McCarty as celebrant. A sister, Barbara Ann, will be lector. Gift-bearers will be three of his children, Michael, Mark and Mary. Burial, with military honors by Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion, will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Mr. Hausman is survived by his mother, Anna Hausman, Carroll; his wife, Bernice, Carroll; sons Michael and Mark, Omaha, a daughter, Mary Ring, Emmetsburg; brothers Harold, Onawa; Louis and Robert, both of Halbur; six grandchildren; sisters Mrs. Bill (Irene) Vasos, Carroll; Sister Barbara Ann, Carroll; Mrs. Orvin (Helen) Flogerzi, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Francis (Kathryn) Dieter, California, and his mother-in-law Mrs. Frank Goetzinger, Carroll. He was preceded in death by his father, Chris Hausman, and a sister, Lucille Wyman. Mr. Hausman was born at Halbur on October 22, 1918, a son of Chris and Anna Schenkelberg Hausman. He was married to Bernice Goetzinger on May 6,1941, a t Sacred Heart church in Ternpleton by the Rev. Msgr. Frederick Huesmann. He received his education ai at. Augustine school in Halbur. During World War II he served in the armed services for three years. He was a member of the St. Lawrence church Men's Club, the Veterans of Foreign Wars post, and Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion.
