The family has the sympathy of a large circle of friends. The Marion Register October 2, 1917 Mrs. Enoch Dye was a native of Watertown, Pennsylvania, born July 27, 1839. When in her 6th year her parents moved to Washington county, Pennsylvania. Jan. 23, 1857, she was married to Enoch Dye. In 1858 they moved to Morrow county, Ohio. The same year they located in Iowa City. In 1860 they returned to Ohio. In 1867 they came to this city and located on a farm north of Marion, which has been their home since. There were five children--Mrs. Sarah E. Collins of Ardale, Iowa, Joseph M. of Swea City, George W. of Audobon, John M., who died several years ago, and Wm. L., who has made his home with his parents. There is also an adopted son, Harry C. The summons came to Mrs. Dye September 20th. The writer of this paper has known her for four decades. She was faithful to every trust and leaves an unblemished record.
