Born in Grover City, Ohio, Sept. 11, 1906, he came to Gladwin County with his parents in his youth. For the past 10 years he had lived in Sanford and prior to that in Pontiac. He was a member of the Beaverton F. & A.M. Lodge. Special Masonic rites were held at the Hall Funeral Home Tuesday evening. Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Browne, of the Beaverton Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Dale Cemetery at Beaverton.
