He was graduated from Delta High School in 1947. On June 7, 1951, he married Earlene Seaba at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney. Following marriage the couple lived and farmed in the Sigourney area. He worked at the Sigourney Community Schools for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Lois Scurlock, a brother Lyman Morrison and granddaughter Ashley Derby. Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, Earlene; three sons, Leland and his wife Sandra Morrison, Ron Morrison, Doug Morrison, nine daughters, Rita and her husband Melvin Keller, Carol Morrison, Barbara Morrison, Doris and her husband Stuart Derby, Karen and her husband Tom Gettings, Rose Morrison, Mary Morrison, Connie and her husband Ray Allen and Annette Morrison; 17 grandchildren; a sister, Helen Nicklas, two brothers, Gerald Morrison and Jim Morrison.
