Description	:	Merna Rose Haberman was born to Frank and Lena (Eisenhauer) Broers on August 9, 1934 in Burr NE. She was the middle child of three siblings, Verna May, Merna Rose and Larry Dean. In 1950 Merna was engaged to Leonard Dorsch of Tecumseh before he left for Korea with the Army. Leonard was MIA in early 1951 and never came home. Merna never forgot his sacrifice. She later met and married Bill Haberman in 1953 and together they had 3 sons. They traveled for Bill's work which resulted in each of her boys being born in a different state.... Read More	Merna Rose Haberman was born to Frank and Lena (Eisenhauer) Broers on August 9, 1934 in Burr NE. She was the middle child of three siblings, Verna May, Merna Rose and Larry Dean. In 1950 Merna was engaged to Leonard Dorsch of Tecumseh before he left for Korea with the Army. Leonard was MIA in early 1951 and never came home. Merna never forgot his sacrifice. She later met and married Bill Haberman in 1953 and together they had 3 sons. They traveled for Bill's work which resulted in each of her boys being born in a different state. They eventually settled in Georgia and later divorced in 1963. She was a great mother, mother in law, grandmother and friend. She raised 3 boys into strong wonderful men, was never afraid to share her opinion and gave great advice. She was courteous and went out of her way to talk to everyone. She would make you smile and feel comfortable. She considered it a personal challenge to get the grumpiest person in the room to talk to her and smile. She had a wonderful sense of style and came from a time that you always dressed your best. This may be why she was a model for Beeline Fashions when her boys were young. She had a quick wit, a ready laugh and a warm hug. We will miss her greatly, but know that she is in a better place. We will meet again. Merna is survived by her sons; Bruce W. Haberman (Kindra) Locust Grove GA, Tony J. Haberman (Sheri) Hoschton GA, Larry D. Haberman, Tucker GA 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren, As well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Broers and Lena E. Eisenhauer Broers, Brother Larry Dean Broers, Sister Verna May Strawser.
