The son of Charles and Jane Brown Nichols, he was born near Atlantic May 8, 1906, and graduated from the Lewis High School. he was married to Gladys Hansen, Jan 9, 1938, and they farmed near Lincoln, Neb, until moving to the Fontanelle area.
