Description	:	Funeral services for Meta D. Hahn, 85, of Battle Creek were held, Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. Reverend Duane Fahr officiated the 1:30 p.m. service with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton. Meta was born July 19, 1918 to Andreas Klutman and Sophia Danielsen in Creighton. She attended Creighton Rural Schools. She was married to Bernard Jacobson on December 18, 1938, he was killed in the service in 1941; she, then, married her second husband, Alfred Miller, on August 21, 1947, he passed away in 1959. She attended Creighton Rural Schools. She was married to Bernard Jacobson on December 18, 1938, he was killed in the service in 1941; she, then, married her second husband, Alfred Miller, on August 21, 1947, he passed away in 1959. She married her third husband, Gordon Hahn on December 30, 1971. Gordon passed away in 1993. She was a CNA and worked in physical therapy in nursing homes. She was a member of the First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. Meta was a cook at Babers' Cafe in Plainview. She later owned and operated Demsters' Cafe in Osmond from 1968 to 1971. She worked at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Norfolk in physical therapy, the Good Samaritan Center in Bloomfield and the Osmond Care Center. She also cared for the elderly for many years in her home. She was a Watkins saleslady for many years. She moved to Osmond in 1985. she has been a resident of the Community Pride Care Center since 1999. Survivors include her two daughters, Millie Drey of Norfolk and Ardis Prescott of Ranche Palo Verges, CA; her two sons, Ralph A. Miller of Yankton, SD and Melvin R. and wife, Joanie Miller of Wayne; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, six sisters and two brothers and one son-in-law.
