A family member did write her into a book, but had difficulties with birth dates of Abby, Ellen, and Betsey. There were three William's, and two John's; so some births weren't mentioned. "Ellen has a birth date of 25 May 1776, Betsey has a baptismal date of 30 Jun 1776. Neither are listed as 'twins'. Weymouth records were good about listing Nehmiah as a twin, this wouldn't have been overlooked. There is a possibility that they are one in the same as Ellen Elizabeth, baptized as Betsey. Whether the first or second scenario is true, Betsey's actual birth date is 25 May 1776 regardless. There was not a Nehemiah, nor Ellen mentioned in Micah's will, but Betsey was. Nehemiah must have died before 1811. Micah Jr died bef 17 Jul 1793 from lockjaw. The History of Canaan lists Josiah b. 1 Oct 1802 as a son of Micah's; he is not. He is "Josiah Porter Haynes".
