Michael's family is listed in the 1870 and 1875 census for Marshall Co. KS. Michael is listed with his children Catherine, Michael and Ellen in the 1880 census in that same location. (His wife died in 1875). Michael's grave marker (and cemetery records) at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery in Lillis, KS indicate that he was 78 yrs at the time of his death and that he was born in Roscommon County Ireland. He likely was NOT born in 1806, as his age on censuses show ages that say he was born between 1815 and about 1825. Find-a-Grave member Jerri Ritter said Michael married on 23 Feb 1846 at Lisonuffy, Roscommon, Ireland, to Winifred Donnelan.
